Productivity
The truth is, when people are in survival mode, struggle is built into their lifestyle as a necessary price that must be paid. Even highly successful people can fall into this trap and find themselves locked into a a struggle/striving cycle. What that looks like is working really really hard to get ahead in the game and to stay ahead. Eventually, burnout occurs and what was gained can be lost in the blink of an eye. It's very easy to get so caught up in struggle and striving that it can be difficult to see what is being lost in the process and what is not being gained.
This can be the curse of the high performance achiever if they are not aware of their own behavioral patterns. We all have them, those ways of being that can slow us down or completely derail us. Recognizing these patterns and then making changes can give us an incredible boost in productivity while putting us into the flow of life. It's effortless achievement when life seems to insist on your extreme success; To manage the flow and to sustain that kind of high productivity, changes are often required.
Most people discover rather quickly that when they attempt to make significant changes in their lives they will encounter internal and external resistance. Without setting up the right environment and structures to support change and growth, we can get stuck creating more of the same old stuff over and over again.
